In 2007, I was selected to take part on the BBC Blast Arts Reporter scheme at BBC Lincolnshire. I was given all the support I needed to research and produce my own reports on arts events in the area then upload it to their Content Management System.

After attending a briefing weekend in Bath (or Bristol?!) I managed to record a ‘Live Lounge’ session with Rebecca Holden, shoot a music video with Blue Dog Films and cover the Harry Potter & The Deathly Hallows book launch. We also went to a couple of the smaller music festivals taking photos of Meet Me In St. Louis, Rolo Tomassi, Tonight is Goodbye, I Was A Cub Scout and Frank Turner although the highlights were interviewing The Chuckle Brothers and playing Guitar Hero with Dave McPherson from InMe.

[Unfortunately, due to having to pay Jeremy Clarkson’s wages, BBC had to cut the Blast Traineeship scheme and as a result, all pages were deleted]
